Wisp in Steal an Egg

The Wisp is what gates the Enchanted Forest. Find it at the biome entrance once you hit 50 Billion Speed, run its three quests, and growing it unlocks the Enchanted Tree — the source of Enchanted Essence and the Enchanted Mutation.

What the Wisp is

The Wisp is a quest-giving companion added with the Enchanted Forest biome, the new top of the progression ladder. It is the key to the zone: the biome rewards are not just a Speed gate you can grind past, they are locked behind finishing the Wisp's tasks and bringing it back grown. Search volume splits one entity a few different ways — wisp steal an egg, steal an egg wisp and wisp in steal an egg all point at this same companion.

That structure matters because it changes what you should be training for. The Enchanted Forest hard gate is 50 Billion Speed, which already sits above the 20 Billion gate on Angels and Demons. But 50B is also the spawn condition — below that number the Wisp simply does not appear, so reaching the biome without the Speed gets you an Enchanted Lion chase and nothing else.

How to get the Wisp, step by step

  1. 1Train to 50 Billion Speed before you go looking

The Enchanted Forest sits behind a 50 Billion Speed hard gate — the highest in the game, above the 20 Billion gate on the Angels and Demons biome. The Wisp only spawns once you have hit that 50B figure, so arriving below it means an Enchanted Lion chase and no NPC to talk to.

  2. 2Enter the Enchanted Forest and find the Wisp at the entrance

The Wisp sits at the start of the biome rather than deep inside it. Walk up to it and interact to open the quest line — you do not need to have stolen anything yet.

  3. 3Steal 10 Enchanted Eggs

Run Enchanted Egg nests inside the biome and get them home. Rarity and weight do not count for this quest, so take the first 10 clean steals you can rather than hunting rolls.

  4. 4Fuse an Enchanted Forest animal

Take 20 animals hatched out of Enchanted Forest eggs to the pet fusion machine and fuse them. As with the first quest, rarity and weight are irrelevant — only the count of Enchanted Forest animals you feed in matters.

  5. 5Steal any Eternal Egg

The third quest asks for any Eternal Egg, and unlike the first two it does not have to come from the Enchanted Forest — any biome you can already farm one from counts.

  6. 6Return the grown Wisp to the Enchanted Tree

Completing the three quests grows the Wisp. Bring it back to the Enchanted Tree inside the biome and that is what unlocks the Tree area itself, which is where every later step happens.

Because two of the three steps ignore rarity and weight, the practical advice is the opposite of normal stealing: take volume, not quality. If you are still building up to the gate, the treadmill is the fastest route and the Speed calculator tells you how far the next upgrade actually moves you.

The Enchanted Tree: butterflies, then Enchanted Essence

Handing the grown Wisp back unlocks the Enchanted Tree. Inside you pick up the Butterfly Net, and butterflies are the currency for everything that follows. You catch them during the Butterfly Bloom event. It was first reported as a random timer (TechWiser, Oct 3), but creator footage (LoopedMuffinRBX) reverse-engineered it as a fixed schedule - blooms fire at :15 and :45 each hour, opposite the portal boss (:00 and :30) - so you can time it once you confirm it on your own server.

Butterflies trade upward, and the ladder is steep at the top:

  • 10 Emerald Butterflies → 1 Sapphire Butterfly
  • 10 Sapphire Butterflies → 1 Amethyst Butterfly
  • 50 Amethyst Butterflies → 1 Radiant Butterfly

Turning that into a mutation takes real grinding. Enchanted Essence costs 240 Emerald, 115 Sapphire, 40 Amethyst and 1 Radiant Butterfly, and the Essence is what applies the Enchanted Mutation to your pets.

Emerald Butterfly240
Sapphire Butterfly115
Amethyst Butterfly40
Radiant Butterfly1

Order of operations that saves time

  • Talk to the Wisp before you steal anything. The quests only begin once you interact with it, so any Enchanted Eggs you lift beforehand are wasted progress.
  • Do the third quest somewhere easier. The Eternal Egg step accepts any biome, so take it wherever you already have a reliable route rather than forcing it inside a zone that needs 50B Speed.
  • Check the income, not just the rarity. If you are choosing which Enchanted Forest animals to feed into the fusion step, compare them with the pet value calculator first — this is the one place where a better roll is not wasted, since the quest does not care what you throw in.
  • Bank butterflies, do not spend them. The jump to Radiant is 50 Amethyst, so a handful of early trades is worth far less than holding for the full Essence set.

What we can and cannot source

The 50 Billion Speed gate, the Enchanted Lion guardian, the Wisp's spawn condition, the three-quest structure, the 20-animal fusion step, the Enchanted Tree unlock, the butterfly trade-up ladder and the Enchanted Essence costs are all documented by TechWiser (published October 3, 2026), and are corroborated in outline by Pro Game Guides, Owlzo, gameboost, bloxodes and timesaver.

Where the guides disagree, we are not going to guess for you. The count for the first quest is reported as 10 Enchanted Eggs by TechWiser and as 20 by some other guides, and the number of stages is described as three by most sources but four by at least one. Treat the quest structure as settled and the exact counts as something to confirm in your own interface. Roblox itself publishes no API for this content, so nothing here carries an official data source — it is all creator-reported, verified across several independent guides.

by ViewSIM · 3:19

ViewSIM shows the exact spot where the Wisp appears in the Enchanted Forest and walks the three Wisp quests.

  • The Wisp appears as a yellow circle near the back wall of the Enchanted Forest - click it or press E to start its quests.
  • The three Wisp quests are: collect Enchanted Forest eggs, fuse an Enchanted Forest animal, then wait for an Eternal Egg to spawn (about every 5 minutes) and steal it.
  • Reaching 50 Billion Speed is the practical gate - ViewSIM notes the speed requirement is what stops most players from even seeing the Wisp.
  • Each completed quest grows the Wisp a stage; by stage four it is big enough to open the secret door / Enchanted Tree room.

Wisp FAQ

What is a Wisp in Steal an Egg?

The Wisp is a quest-giving companion that lives inside the Enchanted Forest, the 50 Billion Speed biome at the top of the ladder. It is not a shop purchase and it is not a code: you find it at the biome entrance, accept its quests, and complete them to grow it.

Where is the Wisp in Steal an Egg?

It is at the entrance, at the start of the Enchanted Forest biome. You do not have to fight your way deep into the zone to find it — but you do have to reach 50 Billion Speed first, because the Wisp does not spawn for players below that gate.

How do you get the Wisp in Steal an Egg?

Train to 50 Billion Speed, enter the Enchanted Forest, and interact with the Wisp at the entrance to start the line. Three steps follow: steal 10 Enchanted Eggs, fuse the animals they hatch into one Enchanted Forest animal with the fusion machine, and steal any Eternal Egg. Rarity and weight are ignored on the first two.

How do you grow a Wisp in Steal an Egg?

Growing it is the same as finishing its quests — every step you complete advances the Wisp toward its grown form. Once all three are done you carry it back to the Enchanted Tree to hand it over, which is what unlocks the Tree.

How do you open the Enchanted Tree in Steal an Egg?

The Enchanted Tree opens when you return a fully grown Wisp to it. Complete the Wisp quests first — there is no separate key, code or purchase. Inside the Tree you will find the Butterfly Net and the path to the Enchanted Mutation.

Why is the Wisp not spawning for me?

The documented spawn condition is Speed: below 50 Billion the Wisp does not appear at all, even though you can physically walk into the Enchanted Forest area. If you are already past 50B and still cannot see it, note that individual guides also report the Wisp behaving inconsistently between players — verify against your own server rather than assuming the content is missing.

What is Enchanted Essence for?

Enchanted Essence is what applies the Enchanted Mutation to a pet. It costs butterflies rather than cash: 240 Emerald, 115 Sapphire, 40 Amethyst and 1 Radiant. Butterflies come from catching them with the Butterfly Net during the Butterfly Bloom event inside the Enchanted Tree area.

How do you get butterflies in Steal an Egg?

Pick up the Butterfly Net inside the Enchanted Tree, then catch butterflies when the Butterfly Bloom event fires. Bloom runs on a random timer rather than a fixed schedule, so watch event notifications instead of waiting on a clock. Butterflies then trade up: 10 Emerald to 1 Sapphire, 10 Sapphire to 1 Amethyst, and 50 Amethyst to 1 Radiant.

Is the Wisp worth doing if I have not beaten Angels and Demons yet?

No — the gate order settles it. Angels and Demons needs 20 Billion Speed and the Enchanted Forest needs 50 Billion, so the Wisp line sits after it in progression. Work the biome ladder first and treat the Wisp as the end-game progression line rather than something to rush.
