Steal an Egg is a fast-paced multiplayer heist game where you infiltrate guarded nests, grab giant rare eggs, and race back to your base before the guards - or other players - catch you.
Every stolen egg hatches into a pet that earns passive income. You spend that income upgrading your base and your treadmill, which trains your Speed stat. Speed is the key that unlocks every biome: Desert at 50, Storm Peaks at 100, and Snow at 120 (community milestone).
In August 2026 the Rebirth system arrived: each rebirth grants a permanent +5% passive income bonus, and reaching Speed 150 doubles your egg mutation chance.
Quick money routes
Early game - your pet passive income is roughly 70% of earnings, treadmill 15%, base income 10% and rare egg races 5%. Fill every pet slot with hatches before anything else.
Late game - the split shifts to 35% passive, 30% treadmill, 30% base income and 5% egg races. A single maxed Lava pet (~$77,000/s) can out-earn an entire starter roster.
Upgrade order: Treadmill โ Base Income Multiplier โ Walls โ Alarms โ Turrets. Speed first, always.
