Steal an Egg Nest & Guard Strategy
The egg is only half the job โ getting it home is the other half. Plan the route, dodge the guards, and protect the return trip.

Plan the route first
Scout the nest before you commit. Know which guards patrol which lane and where the egg spawns, then pick the shortest path that avoids line-of-sight. The beginner guide covers the core loop; this is the evasion layer on top.
Escape the guards
- Use cover: walls and terrain break guard vision. Hug cover on the approach so you are never in the open longer than needed.
- Bait and split: a fast pet or a Trail speed burst can pull a guard off your lane โ then slip the other way.
- Time the night: egg runs line up with the reset window, so strike when guards reset their patrol too.
Protect the return trip
Most losses happen on the way home. Keep a tank pet or a guard of your own near the exit, and never carry more than you can defend. If a rare egg is on the line, a Huge pet scout holding aggro is worth more than the extra slot you sacrificed for it.
Steal an Egg Spawn Times & Nest Respawn Timers
Timing your raid around egg respawn cycles is the secret to high-volume farming. Every biome follows a deterministic nest spawn timer and guard alert cooldown:
| Biome Nest | Egg Spawn Time | Guard Reset Timer | Raid Strategy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter Nest | Every 30s | 45s | Continuous chain-looting |
| Desert Outpost | Every 90s | 75s | Bait patrol with speed burst |
| Snow Peak Nests | Every 120s | 90s | Hug perimeter ice cover |
| Storm Peaks Volcano | Every 180s | 120s | Use Huge pet to tank guard aggro |
| Cherry Blossom Shrine | Every 240s | 150s | Raid right after Great Bloom activates |
Guardian Counter-Tactics & Ragdoll Recovery
Each biome Guardian has a distinct movement AI and attack pattern:
- Swan & Moby (Water Guardians): Accelerate rapidly in water. Never swim in straight lines; jump-strafe across stepping stones to break their aquatic acceleration.
- Bengal Tiger & Hellhound (Sprint Predators): High burst lunges with a 1.5s recovery cooldown. Bait their forward leap by feigning a turn, then dash past them while they recover.
- Frost Mammoth & T-Rex (Area-Stun Titans): Their ground pounds inflict a 2s ragdoll knockdown that causes immediate egg drops. Keep at least 2x the speed gate requirement to maintain safe clearance outside their stomp radius.
- Huge Pet Taunting: Deploying a Huge Pet forces guardians to target the pet first, granting you 4โ6 seconds of uninterrupted nest looting.
Base Traps & Pen Security
PvP egg theft is active in every public lobby. Protect your hatching pen by laying defensive ground traps:
- Spring Traps: Place these right inside your base threshold to launch invading egg thieves out into the open courtyard.
- Stun Strips: Slow down pursuing players by 70%, giving you time to reach your incubators and safely deposit eggs.
- Pen Locking: Keep valuable unhatched nests away from outer base walls where other players might grab them through corner gaps.

A noob-to-pro beginner walkthrough: hatching your first pet, claiming free Speed, using traps on guards, and the right early upgrade order.
- Place your first egg, hatch it, then put the pet in your fenced pen โ never leave a pet slot empty.
- Do the free-rewards steps (like, favorite, join the group) for a free 10,000 Speed instantly.
- Use the Traps from your Pet Index on guards (e.g. the chicken) so they do not chase you while you steal.
- Stay in the Forest early game โ you are not fast enough for the Lake (900 Speed) or Desert yet. Upgrade pens and treadmill first.
- AFK on the treadmill to passively gain Speed and unlock higher areas; buy Trails for a speed boost to reach better eggs.
