Trails are the cosmetic aura that actually matters: higher tiers add real Speed. Here is how to get them without wasting your first hour.

What are Trails?
A Trail is the glowing effect that follows your character. Beyond looks, Trails are one of the few items that add a flat Speed bonus, which matters everywhere: reaching the next biome gate faster, outrunning guards, and finishing night runs before the reset (see our egg timing guide). Per the Pro guide, the top tiers (Eternal and Divine) give the largest Speed boost.
How to get Trails
- Free 10,000 Speed: join the official Roblox group, favorite the game, and like it. The Pro guide shows this as the fastest early Speed spike (done before you buy anything).
- In-game shop: Trails are sold for Robux or event currency; higher tiers cost more but pay back in every run.
- Events & code drops: some Trails appear as limited-time rewards during Admin Abuse events or code giveaways on our codes page.
Priority order
1) Claim the free group Speed first. 2) Buy the best Trail your budget allows (Speed > looks). 3) Stack it with the X2 Money and X2 Growth game passes from our money guide so every night run compounds. Exact Trail multipliers are community-observed — always confirm in-game.
Trails vs game passes vs Rebirth
New players often treat every speed-up as interchangeable. They are not — each one multiplies a different part of the loop, so the right purchase depends on which part is currently holding you back:
- Trails add flat movement Speed. They help you reach gates, escape guards and carry eggs home — the direct answer to “I keep getting caught”.
- Game passes such as 2x Money and 2x Growth multiply what you earn and how fast pets grow. They compound every other activity, which is why the money guide puts them ahead of cosmetics.
- Rebirth grants a permanent bonus to your equipped pets. It is the slowest to obtain and the strongest over a long session — the reason not to rebirth impulsively is that it resets part of your progress while the bonus builds.
- Treadmill upgrades raise the Speed training rate rather than the number itself. If your problem is “the next gate is 40 minutes of training away”, this is the lever, not a Trail.
The free Speed checklist
Before spending anything on a Trail, exhaust the free routes. In order: join the official Roblox group, favourite the game, and like it — each is a one-time action that grants permanent starting Speed, and the Pro guide shows this as the fastest early spike in the game. Then AFK treadmill during night cycles, which is the cheapest Speed per minute available to a new account. Only after that does a Trail purchase make sense, because flat Speed purchased early is worth more than the same flat Speed purchased once your gates are already 40 minutes out.
Mistakes to avoid
- Buying the cosmetic you like over the tier that helps. Trail tiers that add Speed are the functional purchase; appearance is a bonus, not the reason to choose one.
- Assuming a Trail fixes a Speed-gate problem. A flat bonus rarely closes a billion-point gate. Check the speed calculator before you convince yourself a cosmetic is the fix.
- Trusting a multiplier number you read somewhere. Trail bonuses are community-observed and change with updates. Treat any figure — including the ones on this page — as a player estimate until you confirm it in-game.
