How to read this list
Eggs are the gate to your whole roster — every pet you own came from an egg. Higher tiers carry better loot pools and stronger luck multipliers, but they also take longer to hatch and require more Speed to reach. Farm the best egg your current Speed can comfortably handle rather than over-reaching into a biome where guardians ragdoll you.
For the pets those eggs produce, see the Pet Tier List, and for where each egg spawns, check the Biome guide.
Which egg to farm at each stage
The tier badge tells you what an egg can drop. It does not tell you what you should be farming right now, because the gate in front of an egg matters more than the egg itself. The honest progression answer, tied to the gates in our biome database:
| Stage | Farm this | Why not the next tier up |
|---|---|---|
| First hour | Meadow Ridge pools — fill every pet slot | Anything better is behind a gate you cannot reach yet |
| Early (Speed 900) | Lake pool and its better pet spread | Desert is a 5,000 gate; arriving early means losing eggs to guardians |
| Mid game (Speed 5,000) | Desert pool as your income core | Jungle is a 45,000 gate — nine times further |
| Late (Speed 45,000+) | Jungle, then Snow at 100,000 | Higher pools only pay off once your carry speed survives the trip |
Why the rarest egg is not always the best farm
Time decides this more than tier does. A Mythic egg with a long hatch time and a slow route home produces fewer pets per hour than a lower-tier egg you can steal, carry and hatch repeatedly without getting caught. The practical test is not “which egg is highest tier” but “which egg gives me the most completed hatches this session”. Once a tier starts costing you failed runs, you have gone one gate too far — drop back, rebuild the roster, and return with more Speed.
What this list does not claim
We rank eggs by their published rarity tier, the loot pool they draw from and their hatch time. We do not publish a coins-per-second value per egg, because the developer does not publish one and any figure we invented would be a guess dressed as data. If you want to model your own roster economics, use the pet value calculator with your own observed numbers, or the hatch calculator to plan volume instead of value.
Frequently Asked Questions
How are Steal an Egg eggs ranked?
We rank eggs by their official rarity tier (D through S), the pets they can drop, and their hatch time. The developer does not publish a per-egg income number, so the list reflects progression value rather than a gold-per-second figure.
Which egg should I farm first?
Fill every pet slot with Meadow Eggs in your first hour, then push to Speed 5,000 for the Desert and farm Rare Eggs as your mid-game income core. Epic and Mythic eggs come later once your Speed and Rebirth bonuses support longer hatches.
Do rarer eggs always drop better pets?
Higher-tier eggs carry better loot pools and stronger luck multipliers, but volume matters. A full team of Rare pets with a 3x multiplier often out-earns one random Epic, so farm the best egg your Speed comfortably allows.
