What is a Secret pet?

Secret vs Divine vs Eternal

• Divine drops from Legendary eggs and carries the highest pure value ceiling — the trading target.
• Eternal drops from Mythic eggs and pairs late-game income with flex.
• Secret is the wildcard: lower roll rate than Divine, but its stat spread can out-perform on the metrics you actually use (Speed, income). It is a collector's flex more than a strict upgrade.

New Secret pets from Update 4

Update 4 (Angels vs Demons) added four more Secret-tier pets, two on each side of the new biome. They are the mid-table targets of that pool: above the Cosmic entries, below the Eternal and Divine pets that the hidden Shrine consumes.

Note the naming collision: the Secret Fusion Shrine in the same update is an unrelated system. It is not a source of Secret pets — it takes one Light and one Dark Eternal or Divine pet and returns a Fusion Egg. The full update breakdown is on the Angels vs Demons page.

How to check what you actually rolled

1. Open the pet entry, not the hatch animation. The banner that pops on hatch emphasises rarity colour, which is the easiest thing to misread. The stats screen is what tells you the variant and the spread.
2. Compare the working stat, not the headline. Speed and income are the numbers that change gameplay; a flashier variant with a worse spread is not an upgrade.
3. Record what you kept and what you sold. Two sessions of records turn “secrets feel impossible” into an actual observed rate you can plug into the hatch calculator.

Two mistakes worth avoiding

• Chasing Secrets before filling slots. An empty slot earns nothing. Secrets are a flex upgrade at the end of a roster, not a replacement for the income baseline that funds the hatches.

Are Nightflame and Xeno real pets?

Two breakout searches this week were nightflame steal an egg and xeno steal an egg. Neither Nightflame nor Xeno is listed in our verified pet database, so we treat them as community nicknames or pre-release speculation rather than confirmed pets. If Roblox adds either as a named pet (or a secret roll), our pet database and this Secret Pets page are updated the moment creator footage confirms it. Until then, do not trade real pets for a "nightflame" or "xeno" on trust.
