Biome strategy & progression

Do not rush gates blindly. Gated biomes are strictly defended by biome Guardians. Entering a biome near the bare minimum entry gate often ends in disaster because carrying a physical egg reduces your sprinting speed by 20% to 40%.

Guardian Mechanics & The 2x Speed Safety Rule

Every biome from the Lake to Cherry Blossom is patrolled by aggressive Guardian entities (Swan, Bengal Tiger, Mammoth, T-Rex, Hellhound, Moby, and the Sakura Spirit).

• Ragdoll Hard Hitstun: If a Guardian touches you while carrying an egg, your character gets knocked down (Ragdolled) for 2 full seconds, and your egg drops to the floor on a 15-second despawn timer.
• The 2x Speed Safety Rule: Always aim to achieve at least 2x the listed speed gate before running egg heists (double the listed gate: 10,000 Speed for the 5,000 Desert gate, or 200,000 Speed for the 100,000 Snow gate). This guarantees you can outrun guardian lunges even while burdened by Heavy/Giant eggs.
• Huge Pet Decoy Aggro: Equipping a Huge-tier pet draws guardian aggro away from you, allowing you to steal contested eggs safely during group raids.

Speed milestones that buff your account

Beyond opening biome gates, certain speed milestones grant permanent account buffs:

• Speed 150: Doubles your base mutation chance from 2% to 4% across all egg hatches.
• Speed 1.5M (Storm Peaks): Unlocks access to the server-wide Cosmic Egg rotation events.
• Speed 2.5B (Cherry Blossom): Unlocks the Great Bloom event and the Sakura Incubator.
• Speed ~7B (Titan Temple): The newest Monster Update biome and current end-game gate. The name comes from guide coverage; the ~7B Speed requirement is confirmed by in-game creator footage.
• 20 billion Speed (Angels and Demons): Unlocks the newest end-game zone — night only, rotating between a Light form and a Dark form, with both of its eggs guaranteeing a Divine roll. The full breakdown lives on the Angels vs Demons update page.

The newest zone is a rotation, not a tier

Every biome before this one is a fixed place you unlock once. The Update 4 zone behaves differently: it opens at night, then rolls into either its Light form or its Dark form for that night, and there is no way for a player to choose. The practical consequence is that you cannot farm a specific side on demand — you either catch the side you need or server-hop until you find a server that has rolled it. A rare third state merges the two and adds a luck bonus.
